Registration

The summer edition of BOB 2019 takes place on 21st August 2019 in Berlin. It happens in parallel with the 3rd day of ICFP (International Conference on Functional Programming). The BOB registration gives you also access to the ICFP talks of this day. You will need to buy an extra ticket on the ICFP website if you plan to attend the other two days of ICFP. With a registration for ICFP, you don't need a ticket for BOB conference.

The registration fee of BOB 2019 depends on when you register (early bird discount until 18th July 2019). We also offer a student discount. Further, we would like to support participants from groups under-represented in technology.

The conference fee includes snacks, drinks and lunch.

Discount eligibility

If you are eligible for our student discount, you must provide a valid, current student ID at the day of the conference. If you fail to provide a student ID, you have to pay the full registration fee.

Grants

The BOB conference supports participants from groups under-represented in technology (e.g. women). The following options are available:
  1. 30% discount on the conference fee for participants from groups under-represented in technology. If you are eligible, please write an e-mail before you register. You will then receive a discount code.
  2. 10% discount on the conference fee if you recruit other participants from groups under-represented in technology. Please write an e-mail before you register. You will then receive a discount code.
  3. We have a very limited number of free tickets for the conference. Please write us an e-mail before you register and tell us why you need this kind of support.

Hotel reservation

We have made a reservation for a limited number of rooms in the Scandic Hotel (the conference venue). You can buy two nights in a single room 20th-22nd August 2019 for 194 Euro including breakfast on the registration site. Please contact us for further options.
